COVID-19 continues to challenge us personally and professionally. In 2020 we learned valuable lessons to apply to our new normal. As leaders within Papua New Guinea Australia Alumni Association, in our workplaces, and our communities, how do we maintain personal and professional balance while staying productive and keeping the bigger picture in mind?
This new three-part series is designed to support all Papua New Guinea Australia Alumni Association members over the next three months. In this third and final session we will focus on mental health.
Papua New Guinea Australia Alumni Association and Dr. Gretchen Dobson are proud to introduce guest presenter, Tina Winchester, Australian-based mental health director, to lead this important discussion, covering these topics:
• What is mental health?
• What is mental illness?
• Common mental illnesses – depression, anxiety disorders
• How to have a mental health conversation
• Where to go for support
• Staying mentally well
The session will include an open discussion. RSVP by 5pm on Thursday, 17 June 2021 to reserve a spot!
