This year, we're celebrating PNG's independence, and 50 years of friendship between Australia and PNG. To recognise this important occasion, we want to share the stories of alumni who were there at the very beginning. 

 Did you, or someone you know, study in Australia on a scholarship in 1975? Or did you accompany a family member on their scholarship? If that's you, and you're willing to share your story, please get in touch with Australia Awards. We want to know your experiences on scholarship in Australia, and what it meant to you, your family and community when you came back. 

By sharing your experiences, you'll be able to make your own mark on the 50th anniversary celebrations and inspire people all over Papua New Guinea.
