This is a call to Alumni in Lae to attend the Public Lecturer by Dr. Pete Connolly (PHD).
The lecture will explore the evolving nature of China's political, economic and security statecraft in Melanesia, with a particular focus on changes since 2017. Drawing on extensive field research across the Pacific Region and Chine, Dr. Pete Connolly will analyze how Chinese engagement strategies have shifted and what means for regional stability, governance and international relations.
Open to all PNGUoT Staff and students.
